How To E-file
Click ALAGOV Button An Follow These Instructions
1. SETUP USER ACCOUNT
  • Click SETUP NEW ACCOUNT or NEW USERS CLICK HERE
  • Enter information and click SAVE
  • Click SETUP COMPANY
2. SETUP COMPANY
  • Account Verification: Enter your Federal ID (FEIN) or SSN. Note: You cannot use a single FEIN or SSN to setup multiple companies.
  • Click CONTINUE to go to Company Info Page.
  • Enter information. Fields in bold are required.
  • Click NEXT.
  • If you need to add users, fill in user data and click SAVE.
  • Click FINISH to go to the Welcome Page.
  • Click ADD FILING AUTHORITIES.
  • Check the box next to each applicable filing authority, and enter the corresponding tax account number.
  • Click SAVE.
3. FILE TAXES
  • Click FILE NEW.
  • Verify info on Step 1 and click CONTINUE.
  • Select filing period and choose transaction method on Step 2, then and click CONTINUE.
  • On Step 3, select jurisdiction, tax type, and rate code, and click ADD ITEM TO LIST. Repeat this process until all needed jurisdictions, tax types, and rate codes are listed below the navy heading row.
  • Enter quantity (if applicable), gross sales, and deductions in the appropriate fields, and click CONTINUE when finished.
  • Review the info on Step 5, and click SUBMIT if all is correct, or click BACK to make changes.
  • On Step 8, Payment Gateway, select payment method, enter required info, and click PAY.
